How to Consign
Please take photos of the items you wish to consign. If possible, you may email the photos to us or bring them to the shop during our regular business hours. Our email address is: windsorcottage@frontiernet.net. In the Subject line please write: Attention Peggy Include any and all information you have about the furniture including the type of wood, finish, manufacturer, the condition, the age, describe the upholstery and any flaws, the price you paid for it, where you purchased or acquired it. All this information helps us determine a fair market value. If your item is small enough to fit in your vehicle, you can bring it to the shop any day during our regular shop hours for us to consider. If either of those options are not available to you please call the shop to set up an in home appointment. We must see all items before we accept them for consignment. Consignment Policy
Our consignment policy is a 90 day agreement. Every 30 days consigned items are reduced 10 % and when the item sells we split 50/50. Consignor checks are issued the first of each month for items sold in the previous month. Consignors are asked to call the shop at the beginning of each month to inquire if their items have sold. It is the consignors responsibility to move their items to shop and bring their own “muscle power” to unload and deliver their furniture into the shop. We recommend Paul Gillette at Highline Moving. His telephone number is 230-9368. Download the consignment policy (pdf).
